Trinity At the Pillar Gift to God
Infinite God's Universe Holiness
Faithfulness
Trinity Lot Notes God revealed himself in three: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. First is God the Father (Blue), and His commandments are brought down by His Son Jesus, who is also God (Red), is able to live in us through His Holy Spirit, who is also God (white). All is the same one God (Gold), brings His children to be righteous and holy. The perceive ridges of the gold correlated the symbolism of part of God through Jesus keeping His scars found in Luke 24:40 stating that Jesus kept His scars, not from inability to heal them, “but to wear them as an everlasting trophy of His victory.” Estimate: $50,000 - 75,000
At the Pillar Lot Notes Omnipotence- The attribute of being omnipotent comes from God possessing all power. God is above his creation, “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this impossible, but with God all things are possible, “(Matthew 19:26). The slashes in the painting reflect the scourging of Jesus at the Praetorian. The blocks represent the pillar. The size difference between the slashes and the pillar showed what it means to die and rise with Christ like Paul when he was talking about his spiritual transformation, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” (Galatians 2:20). Estimate: $50,000
Gift To God Lot Notes Sovereignty is the attribute that God is the King above all Kings and Lord above all Lords. The gold tone, parallels the colors of royalty and the gift offered to God the Son by the Magi, acknowledging Jesus's royalty as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords . In the painting, the gold toned paint along with the brown paint exhibit the Star of Bethlehem to the night in which the Magi delivered three gifts to the Son of God, Jesus. The red paint invokes the blood of the Lamb and the foreshadowing of the blood that was professed to be shed . Jesus shed His blood for the world, “whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:15) Estimate: $50,000 - 75,000
Infinitude Lot Notes God is infinite and it's an attribute of God Himself since only He can be the beginning and the end. The black line that extended through the realm of white, unending, signifies the infinitesimal characteristic of God, separate from what the human mind can grasp of time. When John wrote the letters to the seven churches, in the words given to him by God he says, “Grace and peace to you from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come…” (Revelation 1:4). Estimate: $50,000 - 75,000
God's Universe Lot Notes God knows all that there is to know. He is omniscience. In Psalms, “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure (Psalm 147:5)." The laws and meaningfulness of God’s sacrifice govern our universe. The pull of the orbs gravitating towards each other signifies the relationship between God and man. Man originally are drifting away from God (blue), due to sin (black), however covered by the blood of Jesus (red), allowed man to once again approach God's presence and for God to dwell amongst man. Estimate: $50,000 - 75,000
Holiness Lot Notes God is void from all sin and evil. God is holy. Holiness is an attribute of God Himself. God's holiness cleanses places, even if it is shrouded with darkness. His holiness is that like a light, penetrating through all darkness. There are no place that cannot be touched by His holiness, all that is touched will become light and holy. An example of this is when Moses was in front of the burning bush, God's dwelling on the burning causes the ground to became holy. And God said, "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." (Exodus 3:5). The washed out black and white vindicates God’s holy attribute to remain even in the darkness of the world, and purifies it. Estimate: $50,000 - 75,000
Faithful Lot Notes God’s promise that He will be with us till the end is confirmed by His love. The black and white washed out paint marks in the "Holiness" painting, shows a Holy God. But in the "Faithful" painting, it shows that God who is light(white), is willing to venture to the world of darkness to reach out to man,who is entrapped by sins (black lines). God brought forth the light into the darkness to reach out to His creation, due to his everlasting love towards man. The final attribute of God faithfulness, is to know that He will be with us to the very end, and that there was nothing that could separate us from Him, not even sin and death itself. Estimate: $50,000 - 75,000
